The Cross Creek Presbyterian Church will be helping to serve dinner at the Washington City Mission on March 17th and 24th from 4:15pm to 4:45pm. More information coming soon.
Loose offerings collected 3/3/2024-3/10/2024 will be used to purchase needed items for the women and children at Avis Arbor Women's Shelter "City Mission".
A special collection was taken to donate to our local food banks. If you would still like to participate, please send a check to our Treasurer, Ethel Sentipal, 1156 Eldersville Rd, Burg., PA 15021. Please Mark “Souper Bowl donation” on the check.
Our church will, again, sponsor Christmas for a local family-in-need. The loose offerings collected on December 3rd & 10th will be used to purchase gifts for the family. Samaritan’s Purse “Operation Christmas Child” has begun. The shoeboxes and the project brochures are available at the church. The filled boxes are due back at the church Sunday, November 12th. Last year, our church filled 46 boxes. Please help us, again, to fill even more boxes, to Give a Christmas and Give a Smile to even more underprivileged children.
Please contribute to the Synod of the Trinity's "Stand with Ukraine" fund for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. Donations collected will be used to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine. Donations may be placed online or in the special collections basket and will be forwarded to the Synod who is matching up to $50,000 for individuals, churches and presbyteries in our region.
Easter Outreach: Loose offerings collected on 3/6/2022 and 3/13/2022 will go towards providing needed items for the abused women/children in the shelter. See Sheila Giacomel or Bev Cline with questions.
A donation was made to WTAE's "Coat's for Kids".
Nonperishable food items as well as loose offering collections from 11/28 and 12/5 were provided to a local family in need.
The congregation once again took part in the Samaritan's Purse "Operation Christmas Child". Over 40 Christmas shoeboxes were filled and collected to be sent to children in need in some of the hardest-to-reach areas of the world.
Donations were sent to the Avella and Slovan Volunteer Fire Departments.
We support the following organizations:
Pine Springs Camp, City Mission, Avis Arbor Women & Children's Shelter, Salvation Army, Washington Presbytery, Resurrection Power, Burgettstown Food Bank and the Avella Food Bank.
